Our scoring methodology is transparent, data-driven, and designed to help you find the right federal attorney. Every lawyer is evaluated across five dimensions using public court records, verified credentials, and client reviews.
Measures a lawyer's federal trial court activity based on the number of federal cases filed, the diversity of district courts practiced in, and overall years of experience.
Evaluates appellate court activity including federal appeals filed across circuits, the diversity of circuits practiced in, and verified appellate court admissions.
Assesses the depth and completeness of the attorney's professional profile, including verified federal court admissions and length of career.
Prioritizes attorneys who are currently active in federal courts, with stronger weighting for cases filed in the last 90 days versus the past year.
Incorporates peer and client trust signals including average rating, review volume, identity verification, and profile claim status.
Rankings and scores are generated algorithmically from publicly available data. Attorneys cannot pay to improve their ranking score. Premium listings affect visibility but do not influence scores.
